In Egypt, student Salem Omar Al-Gharabi tells us about the developments of his scholarship in the same context as his colleague Hisham Al-Suez, as he completes his bachelor’s degree in navigation and obtains a second naval officer’s certificate.
As for the students who study at the expense of the Yemeni government, their responses were somewhat similar to those of their other peers. From India, Faris Al-Satoot, a doctoral student in medical biochemistry, sent a message: For those who want to receive scholarships That he has Know the country of study in advance, He has sufficient scientific language so that he can achieve good academic achievement, and he said: I advise them to be patient because not receiving the dues, which last up to eight months, is disastrous and unbearable, and creates frustration, and many suicide cases have been recorded as a result of difficult financial circumstances.
Akapress concludes its interviews with the students with Hisham Al-Ward from China, who specializes in the field of biochemistry, where he stated that the appropriate atmosphere for scholarship was not provided, but rather that those responsible for the scholarship make the student feel that they are against him and some of them try to obstruct the scholarship by deliberately delaying the scholarship transactions, which forces some students to travel. Without completing the transaction, he searches for an agent to complete the transaction, and here another suffering begins, and the student feels lost because he did not complete his transaction and his dues were not paid, and if he completes his transaction inside, a new journey of suffering begins with the cultural attaché, and so the student’s suffering continues, which prompts him to search for a job opportunity in order to support himself. He finds himself and his family in Yemen, and from here the student’s academic achievement level begins to decline, to the point that some students who have jobs unfortunately abandon their studies.
Al-Ward shares the need for sufficient funding for the grant, preferably a non-governmental grant.
