The Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on its official website the provision of 40 scholarships to countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and Non-Aligned Countries, and applications close by mid-February 2019.

The Ministry's International Development Agency has set a set of conditions for applicants, the most prominent of which are: academic certificates with transcripts, a CV, a valid passport, a medical examination for epidemic diseases and immunodeficiency, and a certificate of proficiency in the English language for applicants to study there, up to a letter of motivation, where a letter of motivation is sent. In the event of acceptance, candidates who have passed initial acceptance will be contacted to conduct an interview via Skype, so that the winners will be selected by July 2019.
