| The Ministry of Higher Education in Iraq announced the imminent opening of scholarships for Iraqi universities by April 2024, for all Iraqi public and private universities, the number of which has reached 53.
The Ministry also announced that the number of scholarships available reaches (5,784) scholarships. حيث يتم التقديم لكل جامعة على حدى عبر بوابة “Study in Iraq“، والتي أطلقت عام 2023، حيث تعد هذه الخطوة ذات أهمية بعد انقطاع مجال الابتعاث الدولي إلى العراق عقب أحداث 2003. Some Iraqi universities are academically ranked among the top 1,500 universities in the world in the British QS classification and the Times classification. The scholarships provide a free academic seat, in addition to health insurance, university housing, and study in all specializations without exception. It is worth noting that the number of students who enrolled in the scholarships in the first year of its opening was 3,019 students. |
