Al Qasimia University has announced a new scholarship program for international students wishing to pursue their undergraduate education in the United Arab Emirates for the fall of 2024.
The university explained that students accepted from outside the country will receive a monthly stipend determined by the university. This monthly stipend will be disbursed during the summer semester for registered students only. The university will also cover airfare expenses for students from the countries they are traveling to study in, in addition to providing health insurance and on-campus housing.
The university confirmed that the scholarship's continuity requirements include enrolling in every semester, not dropping out of school, and ensuring the student's semester and cumulative GPA is no less than 2.00.
Regarding the Intensive Arabic Language Program for Non-Native Speakers, students must successfully complete the program within one academic year; otherwise, university regulations regarding available majors will apply.
The university's statement concluded by emphasizing that adherence to the university's regulations, laws, and behavioral and ethical guidelines is essential for students benefiting from the scholarship.
It is worth noting that the Ruler of Sharjah, along with the University Council Trustees, approved 400 scholarships for international students last year.
