8 countries of interest to the Hungarian scholarship, including 3 Arab countries
The Hungarian government's educational organization Tempus announced that more than 28,000 students have applied for scholarships from 70 countries.
Tempus reported that eight countries received a high share of grant applications: Pakistan, Jordan, Syria, Nigeria, Ghana, Yemen, India, and Mongolia.
The files are currently being sent to the ministries of higher education in the countries applying for nomination, where all applicants will be informed of the acceptance or rejection of their application, so that the initial nomination will come next February 28 according to the Hungarian scholarship calendar.
Candidates in the primary stage will qualify for secondary nomination through the interview that will be conducted with them, and the grant winners will be selected in June 2019.
